In environments such as high-temperature furnaces, deep-sea platforms, or chemical plants, the failure of standard nuts often leads to downtime and safety hazards. Inconel 718 hex nuts are specifically designed to address these extreme operating conditions.
Crafted from a nickel-chromium superalloy, this fastener maintains stable clamping force at temperatures exceeding 700°C while resisting corrosion from salt spray, acids, and chemical media. Precision-rolled threads ensure smooth and effortless installation every time, and the solid feel conveys the material’s inherent reliability.
Withstands 700°C+: Maintains strength even when red-hot, without softening or oxidizing
Resists Chemical Corrosion: Provides a natural barrier against seawater and acidic media
Fatigue-resistant design: Remains reliable under repeated assembly/disassembly and vibration conditions
Installation-friendly: High thread precision reduces jamming and wear
Long service life: Reduces replacement frequency and lowers total cost of ownership
System compatibility: When paired with bolts of the same material, consistent thermal expansion ensures a more stable connection
It is not just an ordinary fastener—it is the final line of defense for engineering reliability.
The Inconel718 Hex Nut is trusted in industries where failure is not an option:
Petroleum Production: Maintains secure assemblies in drilling and extraction equipment under high pressure and corrosive conditions.
Saltwater Handling: Resistant to pitting and corrosion in marine environments, desalination systems, and offshore platforms.
Pulp Mill Bleach Systems: Withstands harsh chemical exposure, ensuring operational reliability and reducing maintenance downtime.
Tall Oil Distillation Columns: Provides secure fastening in high-temperature distillation processes.
Desalination Equipment: Prevents fastener degradation from prolonged contact with saline water.
Food and Chemical Processing Equipment: Safe for critical applications where hygiene and corrosion resistance are required.
Flue Gas Desulphurization Scrubbers: Performs under acidic and high-temperature exhaust environments.
Offshore Oil & Gas Production Equipment: Delivers long-term stability and strength in demanding offshore installations.

What the Inconel 718 is :
INCONEL alloy 718 (UNS N07718/W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. Typical composition limits are shown in Table 1. The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding. The ease and economy with which INCONEL alloy 718 can be fabricated, combined with good tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength, have resulted in its use in a wide range of applications. Examples of these are components for liquid fueled rockets, rings, casings and various formed sheet metal parts for aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines, and cryogenic tankage. It is also used for fasteners and instrumentation parts.
